This piece was painted during a particularly strong connection to spirit. It sounds odd, but I have no memory of putting paint on the canvas.

This is one of those rare communions they portray in movies, where the artist is fully dissolved into the work and “channeling” something from the other side.

I feel that power every time I look at it. It reminds me that there’s always something more powerful than us, just beyond the surface.
