It wasn’t that long ago, really, when Hero was called to this Earth.
You see, Heroes always come when something needs saving.
And saving we need, indeed.
When humans see Hero’s naked body, his smiling bunny face, they aren’t quite sure what to do with him. Is he an alien? A superhero? An angel?
(Hero, of course, prefers the term “friend”.)
As he zooms across this big, beautiful Earthly sky, Hero’s cartoonish eyes spot crises. The humans, with their human eyes, don’t always see what Hero sees.
A kitten caught in a tree isn’t important to a businessman. But it’s important to Hero. So down he swoops to save the day, his naked body glistening in the beautiful Earthly sunlight, to pluck the scared little cat from its tree. (Next step, tenderly place the kitten on the porch of a lonely human.)
The more of these heroic acts Hero heroically achieves, the more his heart power grows. When he has enough of this beautiful heart power coursing through his heroic veins, Hero can tackle larger heroic tasks. He can end pollution, greed, waste, even war — if he can find enough heart power.
When humans see Hero doing his heroic work, they’re always a little scared. “Who is this naked man wearing a stupid bunny head?” they ask no one in particular.
Hero does his best to explain why he does his work. But it’s up to the human hearts around him to see the truth; we are all Heroes that have come from Somewhere Else. We all have missions. Our heart power grows when we do what’s right, not what’s popular.
So, as you can see, it wasn’t that long ago, really, when another Hero woke up.
